Our Standards Framework

My Baby My Way Foundation delivers services and education in alignment with standards established by the International Childbirth Authority (ICA)—the global governing body for maternal autonomy, holistic preparation, mental health protection, and peaceful family-centered care.

ICA defines best-practice standards.
Our role is implementation, education, and community-based delivery.

This alignment ensures:

  • ethical, evidence-informed care
  • prevention-focused maternal and family support
  • consistency across programs and partners

How We Support Communities

We support individuals, families, and organizations through three integrated pathways:

Direct Community Programs

Housing stability, maternal wellness, nutrition, childcare access, and family support delivered through programs under the FAME Movement.

Our partnerships with various MCP’s (Managed Care Plans) we offer services for ECM (Enhanced Care Management), CS (Community Supports) and CHW (Community Healthcare Workers) for 14 counties in California.

Education & Workforce Development

Training, certification, and learning pathways delivered through the FAME Institute, aligned with ICA-informed principles.

Technical Assistance (TA)

No-cost support for organizations through California’s PATH TA Marketplace, including ECM, Health Equity, and Workforce Development.


Education & Training: The FAME Institute

Through the FAME Institute, My Baby My Way Foundation provides education and workforce development opportunities that strengthen community health systems and build long-term self-sufficiency.

Learning tracks include:

  • Community Health Worker (CHW) education
  • Client health navigation & literacy
  • Organizational and workforce training

All education is delivered in alignment with ICA-informed standards and public health best practices.

We started our foundation to act as a charitable arm in 2019. Since then, we have created sustainable community projects and programs that improve the education of girls, mothers, and maternal conditions for those in need due to disparities from culture, race or social standing.
